My little guy picked up a virus where he was vomiting for 24 hours and spiked a temperature over 101. He needed Tylenol, just refused information technology orally. You can actually buy suppositories to do the same thing. I believe the minimum age is 6 months, but a Dr can give you instructions according to weight etc. Non sure if your situation is emergent like that, only a consideration for the futurity. Good luck!
Yep omg! Lincoln is the worst with taking medicine! I've tried the regular similar unflavored Tylenol, grape and cherry! He throws it up and gags! I've done it simply in the syringe and in a bottle nipple. He'due south getting better but information technology's still 50/50 on if he'll keep it downwardly!
My LO did the same affair with the red Tylenol, so his Dr. suggested we try a different flavor of Tylenol, we bought the grape flavor and have had much amend luck with information technology!
Why has your babe needed Tylenol then much? Please remember that there is a take chances for every drug you lot give your baby. It may seem safe, but it could be potentially harmful, particularly when given in conjunction with vaccines.

They take pacifiers that you can put the medicine in and the baby volition suck on information technology. My LO always acts like I'm gagging him but and then laughs because he thinks it's funny! Also if yous go very slowly like a few drops at a time in the cheek it helps. :)
I concur with PP nigh suppositories! My fiddling brother (at present 8) had and still has an extreme dislike of medicine since he was a couple months erstwhile. Ever knew even if we put it in milk and every bit he got older fifty-fifty in strawberry milk ! Suppositories worked best and they actually work fast
Aforementioned hither! Her pediatrician suggested Tylenol for vaccines fever and every time I give to her she gags and vomit and then desperately! I don't know if information technology'south the grape flavor simply the medicine seems to exist to thick too!
Both paracetamol and ibuprofen are fine for babies, but some babies react badly to one or the other. And then endeavour the other 1!
I can't remember which Tylenol is. Over hither we accept calpol (baby paracetamol) and nurofen (baby ibuprofen). Ane of my kids tolerated one and the other kid tolerated the other medicine!
